
Serviator - For Excellent House Management

System Design
The database and management client can both be on the same server as the Serviator system. If PMS is installed, this can also be on the same server.
The interface(s) use standard tcp sockets for communication with client systems.

Maid Service

Maid service presents users with a list of rooms that are assigned to them for housekeeping duties. Basic status information is displayed on the initial page: Clean, Not Clean, Comments. Additional details and update options are displayed when the user selects a room from the list: Check out, Stay-over, In, Out, New Arrival, etc.
Maintenance

Provides easy-to-use task manage-ment for hotel maintenance management and staff. Allocates individual tasks to staff members. Support for recurring tasks for ease of management and use. Interconnectivity with PMS system. Ability to put a “block” on a room where necessary. System operability restricted by user level. Ability to group tasks by category, e.g., Electrical, Heating, Bedroom, Bathroom, etc. Maintenance staff can follow up on previous tasks. Ability for maids and non-maintenance staff to post requests for maintenance & check status of requested tasks.
Stock Control

Support for mini-bar locations & groups for easier task allocation. Flexible and user-definable locations, e.g., Floor 1, Floor 2, etc. Support for multiple rooms in one location or group. Support for allocating a specific mini-bar type to a range of rooms. Categorized mini-bar products, e.g., wine, chocolate, soft drinks, etc. System operability restricted by user level. Cost and sale price details are used to produce margin reports. Maintenance staff can follow up on previous tasks. Flexible mini-bar inventory enabling restocking of alternative items. In addition to margin reports, a consumption report is available based on usage. Billings posted to the PMS system when use is recorded. Restock report available by category. Staff Messages

Allows messages to be distributed electronically to all online staff members. Supports messages to individuals, online, off-line & all users. Possibility for managers to delete messages that have not yet been accessed by recipients. Auto-text enabled using pre-configured words & phrases for easier messaging. Allows managers to see who has accessed a message, including date & time.
Management

Management Statistics on staff work loads and work completion to accurately report staff efficiency. Ability for managers to approve status of completed maintenance tasks. VIP requests allow managers to make specific and non-standard requests for VIP guests, e.g., Red Carpet treatment, Special Menus, etc. Generate staff me ssages for selected staff members from VIP requests. Direct Task Assignment allows managers to allocate specific tasks to specific staff members.
